Hammy was also ....a good hamster............

Hammy the Hamster.....August 2004- July 2008

This post is dedicated to Hammy the hamster. He was a good and faithful hamster. Hammy loved to run in his wheel, climb in his tunnels, EAT a LOT and just sit back and take it easy.Hammy was the longest living hamster that I have ever heard of. I really cannot remember when Hammy was not a part of our lives.
Hammy was unlike Patches because he was content to stay in his comfy home. He didnt need to explore new worlds...He knew that his home was the best. I can only remember one time that he ever escaped and after exploring the kitchen he decided that he had enough adventure for one lifetime. he waddled back to the gate in front of his owner bens door and waited to be discovered and put back into his loving home.
THere was never a hamster that was more loved than Hammy. Even though in his old age Hammy aquired a lot of "junk in his trunk" and he was"as slow as molasses" he was always up for a game of hide and go seek.(Hammy would hide in his cage and Ben would seek him out)
We love you Hammy and hope that you keep Patches company until we are all reunited again in the sweet afterlife.

He was a good hamster......

Patches ....June 2007-June 21,2008
Patches Poo was a good hamster. He loved his owner Emma more than any other little girl in the world. He loves to play hide and seek in Emmas room , he loved escaping from his cage in new and interesting ways, and he loved to explore new environments. He loved long walks on the beach, and nibbling crumbs by the fire. He loved eating crackers, craisins and cereal like a freaky little hairy human. When patches looked into your eyes he could read your mind. He was the ultimate escape artist. He could escape a cage of any kind and overcome any obstacle. He was even known to use his freaky little paws to untie twistie ties that held his cage shut. He was a hamster that was born for true adventure.
Patches met his fate on June 21,2008 when his most daring adventure went terribly wrong. For the first time in his short little life he escaped the confines of the house and made it into the wide open world for his ultimate adventure. The neighbors cat proved to be an abstacle too great for little Patches. He fought bravely to the end. He was a great hamster that will forever old a place in our hearts. We miss you Patches Poo.

Owner of the Ice Shak and his faithful folowing.
The new faces of the ICe Shak!
O.K they worked very hard holding signs and banners and waving at cars and it was hot. They decided to take a chill break in the shade. Emma really enjoyed what she called "working her corner!" I did stay close by though to make sure her shirt stayed on!

World..... Meet Rocko

As Most of you know we have been driving Janky for 13 years now. He has been a faithful companion and seen me throught some of the best and worst times in my life. Mr. Janky is not going anywhere, but we did add to our fleet. Saturday we welcomed Rocko into our family. Rocko is a 2008 Nissan Sentra . It still amazes me that we now have 2 cars in our family that are very reliable and nice cars. I never knew people actually did that! For those of you that just rolled your eyes and thought to yourselves that Janky wasnt a nice car....SHAME ON YOU! Now here are pictures of our new baby.

I had to get a professional model for the photo shoot but well worth it wouldnt you agree?
