Really???? too many questions too few answers

Mommy....... what is the slime that comes out of a slug when he is crawling? It is just that .... slug slime. No what is it exactly? I am thinking " who cares?" It is the gross stuff that oozes out of a nasty slimly creature.But I cannot say that because that is rude and it is not a patient mommy which is what I strive for. So I say..."Its his guts". " OH NO his guts are falling out????? Ummm wrong answer....I say ..No I mean if he were somehow squished that is probably what his guts would look like". there dodged that bullet. " Oh.... so what is that slime then...." It is his slobber". My answer is met with a huge smile and accompanied with a satisified "EEEEEWWWWW". I guess my answer was gross enough to be cool but not gross enough to be disturbing. Sooooo if anyone really does know what the slime is that comes out of a slug when they are crawling please let me know but dont tell my children cuz right now I am like a walking bank of knowledge and the last thing I really want is for them to find out that I really am just making this up as I go along. I am also making up the reasons for why a mouse that has been a rescued from Yappy's mouth and cant really walk straight because it is half dead cant come in the house and live in a hamster cage. "It is almost exactly like a hamster" I knew I should have stuck to my guns and said "HELL NO" to the hamsters like I originally thought because my kids are right a mouse and a hamster are almost exactly alike.
Also does anyone know if hamster toenails are sensitive to pain? That was another question that I was really puzzled on. I just went with the safe answer and said " Are your toenails sensetive to pain" Yea!!!! I win!!! I walked away leaving him with a puzzled look on his face not really knowing the answer to the question I was asking. Sometimes in motherhood you just have to celebrate the small wins.

Seattle in November

Let me apologize for this being such a lenghtly post. Seattle is beautiful and our trip was beautiful. I had to share our amazing pictures.

Waiting at the airport.... after the all day plane trip this was probably the hardest wait of all.

Sleepovers are so fun. What you cant see is that they are on two queen air mattresses but they would have been happy on one twin.


Every day Emma and Jack had to be touching somehow. We made them take a rest time and watch a movie. We placed them in seperate spots so they would be able to rest a little bit and when we came back into the room this is what we found. Absolutely priceless.

This is our hero...Aunt Jilly. She valiantly and bravely offered up her seat so a sad and exhausted little girl could finish out the trip seated next to her Mommy.

They are just so happy to be close to each other that they havent even looked outside and noticed that we are at the airport.

Uh Oh .... They noticed.When we were going through security and the agent asked Emma if I was her Mom she said yes.....then she asked her a loaded question...."Do you want to go on the plane with this lady?" Emma opened her mouth and I gave her the stink eye so she reluctantly said "yes".

I wanted to be batman but I thought that Jonnie might really pass out from embarrasment so I decided to forgoe the costume this year. These are my lashes after I got them tinted courtesy of Hope Stover. I know they look very long and a little sparkly:)
